New Scrapping Goals

Ok, so as you have noticed, not much scrapping has been done for awhile! This is due to an almost 16 months old new curiosity for EVERYTHING she is not supposed to touch! lol With her walking and into everything it is harder for me to get time to sit and do some scrapbooking. We also seem to have lots of school stuff and soccer going on at the moment to. Im sure once this summer gets here I will be able to do a little more. We shall see. So I am making a new goal of two layouts a week for the moment. I have a few I have done lately, just havent posted them yet. I will work on that later today! I hope I havent lost all of my readers by now. Not that there is that many of you, but I do so enjoy sharing my layouts with you guys!

 IED pics from Iraq. This is not the IED that hit david, but one that hit a convoy his friends were on. They went out to put up a perimeter around it so insurrgents would not attack again. pretty scary stuff. No one was hurt in this attack.

Life in the army can be so fun at times! lol 9 more months and we will be done with all that! We are excited and scared all at the same time! Hoping to get a few more pages done today. This is a layout that I decided to redo. I just wasn't happy with the first one at all. This is ultrasound pics of Constance. It was an easy page, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I had seen this concept on another page a long time ago and had been wanting to do it with one of the girls. I ended up not doing it with Ivy's and Paige's but since I wanted to redo Constance's I thought it was the perfect opportunity!

OK, so I got so burnt out on scrap booking that I took a month off :) I tried a couple times to get back in my groove, but I would do a page or two and then lose interest again. I think I am finally back though :) Which means lots of catching up to do! I have been doing some major reorganizing of my scrapbooks, getting them all in order and all in books. I still need to buy a butt load of more page protectors, but I did buy some new albums to get all my loose pages into. My goal this week is to get caught up on my pages, then I will do some more organizing for our family albums :) Hope everyone is enjoying this nice weather! I know we are!

So I lost my scrap booking mojo there for a little bit! I took a little over a week off. Some of these pages I did before that time, I just didn't even feel like blogging them. But I am back, and plan on doing a few more pages at some point today :)

My great grandparents. I wasn't sure how I was going to do this page, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I think the colors really make the picture stand out. I wanted to preserve these pictures for the girls to have. They have never met them, in face I never met my great grandpa, but it will be neat for them to look back on as they get older.

Not much going on here today. Just hanging around the house, and more of that tomorrow since there is no school. Tuesday is spring picture day for Constance. I still have no idea what she is going to wear yet!

And this is what I mean.... lol This is the playground at the campground we stayed at last October! I will be making a camping scrapbook just for our camping adventures in the years to come. Interested to see where we will end up going this year. We are planning a trip this spring to Omaha to go to the zoo. Its the best zoo I have ever been to, and I'm excited to take the kids!



Sorry, I haven't been updating to often lately. David is on a new schedule at work and it takes some adjusting for all of us to get used to it. Now he is home in the mornings and goes into work at 1 pm then gets home around 10:30.  We are getting adjusted now though :) Hope everyone is enjoying this weather today! Its wonderful!!! The girls were pretty excited not to have to wear their big heavy coats to school this morning! I bought them some colored bubbles at walmart the other day so after school today we are going to head out and try them out! I will get pics! Have a great day everyone!

Pages I promised!

 Extreme Conditions in Iraq. That had to have been horrible. I left the journaling blank until he gets home, so  he can help me decide what to write. Its hard to do a scrapbook full of pictures that you werent there for. Im always asking him what I should title the pages and stuff! lol

 I really like how this page turned out. This was the day Ivy came home from the hospital, and the first time Constance got to meet her sister :)

Ok, for some reason these pages are together, so I cant write under the third one. It is us with Constance when she was 2 weeks old at Science City in KC. Her very first trip of many so far. Plan on going again sometime soon I think.

The last layout is of me as a baby :) Some pretty old pictures there!


Well, the snow is on its way to melting!!! This makes me happy, and so does the forecast for this next week! Im really hoping that we dont get anymore snow this season, but who knows with this midwest weather!

Not much going on here today. Its actually been kind of boring. Tomorrow we get back to our normal routine and Constance goes back to school. After being home for 6 days now, I think we are all ready for school to start back up! I'm wondering if they will still have their spring break, and if they will have extra days on the end of the year to make up all these snow days they have been having.

Im tired of all the snow!!!! We are supposed to get more sunday and then even more on tuesday and wednesday!!! One thing is apparent, we should have a very pretty spring!!!!

Happy February!

 Here are two pages I kind of just threw together last night after the girls were in bed! Ive had this picture  of Brian for a long time, its one of my favorites, so Im glad I finally got it scrapped! I dont have any boy type stuff, especially teenager stuff, so I was unsure if I had anything to scrap it with! The polka-dot paper is actually from a Halloween collections I have and the chipboard is just from a big bag of odds and ends I have. So I was happy that I could do this page last night!

Now girl papers on the other hand, I have! This is our Paige, when she was 3 months old! Such a happy baby!


Anyone have Valentines plans with their honey's? David and I are going out the weekend after Valentines, cause my mom is coming up that weekend to watch the girls for us! I am so excited! We are planning a trip to the Plaza. Dinner at Cheesecake Factory, a carriage ride around the plaza, a little shopping, and we will spend the night at the Marriot! How much better could it get? Cant wait!!!

Hope all of you stayed safe during the storm and enjoyed watching the snow! We sure did! We didn't get as much as others, but we got a fair amount to deal with! David had to go to work at 5 this morning. He left early so he would get there on time. I haven't heard from him, so Im assuming he made it there fine. The snow is pretty, but I do have to admit, I am sooo ready for spring!
